Day -- 23 Utah

July 17, 2009
Today marks the end of the GOSH Adventure across the USA and back. Jordan and Miranda will leave us tomorrow morning and join their parents for a family reunion near Provo, UT. Adam, Lindsey and Gunther will continue to California for his next adventure at scout camp. Lindsey and Gunther begin their California vacation in Pollock Pines with Aunt Sharla, Uncle Dave, Adam and Shiloh. Though this chapter is almost at an end, another is beginning. Thousands of miles were travelled. New things were learned every day. All of us took turns being cross, patient, happy, enthusiastic, lazy, tired, helpful and grateful. Though the trip was carefully planned, many adjustments were necessary. “To everything there is a season and a purpose under the heavens.” -Ecclesiastes
As the grandparents of these GRAND children, it has been a privilege to share these experiences together. It was a challenge in many ways but a highlight in our lives. The trip surpassed all expectations. We are grateful for the resources that made this possible—our children, combined financial means, good health, lots of stamina, and divine protection for all our days. We hope that new GOSH Adventures await us in the future. For us, we know there is no end….. Cheryl & Don

Comments form the kids.

As much as we look forward to going home to see our families, we also want to visit our extended family (YOU GUYS!). See you soon! –Lindsey

We all thank Grandma and Grandpa for making the trip much more fun and we hope that you all found our adventures as fun as we did. –Gunther
